INFORMATION

Wallace Laurie Warren enlisted in the AIF on the 25th November 1915 abd was allocated to B Company 35th Battalion AIF and embarked from Sydney on board HMAT A24 "Benalla" on the 1st May 1916. D Company 35th Battalion AIF.

28/06/1919.

Informant; Private: 1264 Wilfred Walter TAYLOR. Warren was in "D" Company with me, and he name was "Wallace" he was short and nuggety and very fair and came, I think from New England way. He was killed outright at Villers-Bretonneux on 4/4/18, he was almost alongside me at the time he was shot and killed instantly. We moved straight away from there, and I dont know where he was buried.

Unnames Male born 1895 at Coopernook, N.S.W. Birth Cert:27378/1895 and died in 1895 at Coopernook, N.S.W. Death Cert:10380/1895. Wallace Laurie Warren born 1897 at Coopernook, N.S.W. Birth Cert:7539/1897 and died 1918 at Villers-Bretonneux, France. John H Warren born 1899 at Coopernook, N.S.W. Birth Cert:25573/1899 and died in 1973 at Goulburn, N.S.W. Death Cert:62661/1973. Willie Warren born 1901 at Coopernook, N.S.W. Birth Cert:26894/1901. Olive J I Warren born 1903 at Coopernook, N.S.W. Birth Cert:34770/1903. Stanley G Warren born 1905 at Coopernook, N.S.W.
