INFORMATION

Samuel Campbell enlisted with C Company 35th Battalion AIF on the 30th of November 1915 and was an original member of the Battalion. He left Sydney on board HMAT A24 "Benalla" on the 1st of May 1916. samuel was Killed in Action at Messines Ridge, Belgium on the 23rd of June 1917 and is commemerated in perpetuity by the Commonweath War Graves Commissionat hte Menin Gate Memorial Ypres.


His British War and Victory Medals were Court Mounted by Ross Sargant on the 26th of July 2006 and are in the possession of Mrs N Carter.

Kenneth was a School Teacher from Alvie, Victoria upon enlistment
